Rob’s role as a trusted advisor enables him to combine his passion for finance with his lifelong love of helping others. As a strategic planner, he uses the science of financial planning to help secure his clients’ futures, and leverages creativity in the “art” of investing to solve his client’s problems, regardless of size or complexity.
In 2001, Rob began his career as a financial advisor with UBS PaineWebber. In 2006 he joined Merrill Lynch, where he was a member of the Executive Club and the company’s National Diversity Council.
Impressed by Morgan Stanley’s world-class capabilities and strong focus on putting clients first, he joined the Firm in 2011. Rob uses the Firm’s award-winning solutions to provide his family of clients with the full spectrum of modern wealth management, including comprehensive financial planning, investment banking, merchant banking, budgeting, and risk and liability management. Rob is a member of Firm’s Century Club, Morgan Stanley’s group of elite advisors who have demonstrated consistent excellence in client service.
A strong believer in giving back to the Atlanta community, he chairs the Atlanta Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners. Rob has served on the Board of Trustees of The Galloway School, and as a regional board member of Operation Hope. He is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Buckhead and a 2012 Georgia Trend Magazine 40 Under 40 honoree. He has received the Black History Harvest Community Leadership Award, the HBCU Power Award and the Lifetime Achievement Morehouse College Upward Bound Award.
Rob graduated from Morehouse with a B.A. in Finance and Economics; and from Georgia State University with a M.S. in Finance. He credits his advanced degree training with the ability to act as a CFO for his clients. Rob’s commitment to providing his clients with the best practices in financial planning continues as he studies for the Certified Financial Planner exam. He has been interviewed on local business radio programs and in various media outlets, such as AJC, Northside Neighbor and South Metro Neighbor. In his spare time, Rob enjoys volunteering as a basketball coach, reading historical nonfiction and spending time with his family outdoors. He resides in Buckhead with his wife and three children.
